Antipasti & Soup

(I shouldn’t say it loudly, but) we had some salami we bought at a market in Edinburgh and wanted to have it today, so we had a plate of antipasti of the salami, bruschetta with tomatoes and caprese with avocado added first, followed by tomato soup.

I like soft salami better than very hard ones, so I asked for soft one when we tried at the market but this one was really soft.  I love the aroma you get from the very mature one.  We used to be able to buy something similar (though I think it was French) in City Super’s in Hong Kong but haven’t found one here in Singapore.

We often have Soup & Salad but not Antipasti & Soup.  This way, you don’t eat too much, it’s quite healthy and feels satisfied – good idea, I think.
