Mapo Tofu

今日の夕食は、とてもとても久しぶりな麻婆豆腐。他に、山芋を焼いて甘辛いタレを絡めたものと、きゅうりとキャベツの甘酸っぱくてピリ辛のマリネ。何か足りないと思ったら、インゲンをニンニクと一緒に炒めるつもりだったのを忘れていました。

Today’s dinner was Chinese – the main was Mapo Tofu, which I haven’t made for a long long time.  I use Szechuan Pepper and very spicy Dobanjan, so it’s quite spicy but we like it that way.  I also sauteed some thickly sliced Yamaimo (Chinese yam? It’s a long vegetable, which is sticky when grated) and coated with sweet and salty sauce with mirin, soy sauce and sugar.  I was going to stir-fry green beans with garlic but forgot it completely.

麻婆豆腐には四川山椒も入れています。かなり辛い、けど美味しい!
