Today’s dinner was Italian Style Antipasti (but as a main).  I like antipasti and pasta in Italy rather than the main, I don’t like Italian main dishes very much but love starters and pasta.  (The only main dish I like in Italy is Florentina in Florence.)  I like having a little bit of many different dishes, specially vegetables so antipasti is ideal.  In Italy we used to have Antipasti and Pasta or even just Antipasti and nobody seemed to mind it.  Having said that, I don’t think we see many restaurants recently that have plates and plates of antipasti lined up for you to pick from.


Our Antipasti plate today was roasted pepper with tomato and garlic, Lentil & Bacon Salad, Grilled and marinade zucchini and aubergine, Zucchini salad with pine nuts, Mozzarella, tomato & basil and Salami with fennel. We enjoyed it very much.
