今の午前中は、お花のクラスでした。今日もシャンペトル。大きな紫陽花の外側に背の高いものを入れるのに苦戦して、３回目でおまけしてもらった感じで終了（笑）。

I had a flower class this morning – Champatre as usual.  I had a hard time putting tall flower/foliage outside the hydrangeas, I re-did it twice but it still wasn’t really great.

使ったお花は、アンティーク紫陽花、ビバーナム・コンパクタ、ブルーノ、スモークツリー。わたしなら多分赤い実のビバーナム・コンパクタの代わりにボルドーのカラーなどを選びそうですが、赤い実が入ることでシックになりすぎず可愛らしくなっているように思います。

Flowers & foliage used were antique hydreagea,viburnum compacta, red foliage (I cannot find the name in English) and smoke tree.  I would probably have chosen something like dark red calla lilies instead of red berries, which would have made the bouquet quite a lot darker and maybe too chic.

 

いつものように素敵にラッピングしていただいきました。毎回、「もったいないな〜。」と思いながら解きます。

As usual the instructor wrapped the bouquet beautifully.  I always feel it a shame to unwrap it when I get home.
