Honey Mustard Chicken Breast

今日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、チキンの胸肉、蜂蜜とマスタードソースでした。蜂蜜やマスタードの他にワインビネガーやアプリコットジャムなども入った甘酸っぱいソースでした。チキンも柔らかく美味しかったです。付け合わせは、スィートポテトのマッシュと人参でとってもオレンジ色(笑)。いつもなら何かしらグリーンのお野菜も添えるのですが今日は忘れてしまったそうで、「ご飯出来たよ〜。」と呼ばれて行くとわたしが席に着く前に「全部オレンジになっちゃった。」と笑っていました。

Today’s dinner my husband cooked was “Honey Mustard Chicken Breast“.  The sauce had wine vinegar and apricot jam as well as honey and mustard so it was sweet and sour.  Chicken was very tender and delicious.  He put it on a bed of sweet potato mash and served with carrots – so it was very orange!  He called me saying the dinner was ready and before I saw the plate he said “I’m afraid it’s very orange”.  Usually he adds some green vegetable as well but apparently he forgot.  Never mind, it was very nice.
