今日のディナーは、「Binomio」に行きました。

We went to “Binomio”, a Spanish restaurant where we’d been before towards the end of last year.

マッシュルームのコロッケ。

Cheese terrine (it came with very nice bread).

今回初めてオーダーしてみた、チョリソと白いチーズ。まさか、この大きさのチョリソが来るとは思っていませんでした。味が濃いのでパンをたくさん食べることになり、お腹が膨れてわたしは余り食べられず。。。

Chorizo. We hadn’t ordered this before.  We didn’t expect them to be so simple (simply grilled chorizo with some cut cheese) or to have so much chorizo.  As chorizo has very strong flavour and very salty, I ended up eating lots of bread and still couldn’t eat more than one piece.

チュロス。やっぱり、中まで火が通っていない気がするのですが、そういうものなのでしょうか？すごく太いので中まで火が通らないのでは？

Churros.  Are they supposed to be wet and gooey inside?  I don’t know if they are supposed to be that way or they are just too fat to cook all the way through.

 

コロッケは美味しかったですがかなりクリーミーですし、当然チーズもクリーミー、ここまでで結構お腹が膨れてしまいました。後はチョリソーと豚の肩肉とお肉、お肉。お肉はどちらかにして、何かサラダっぽいものをオーダーすれば良かったです。最後のチュロスも揚げ物なので、ヘビーな夕食になってしまいました。オーダーミスの感あり、ですが、味はどれも美味しかったです。

Although croquette was very nice, it was very creamy, then the cheese pate is also creamy so they filled me up a lot.  Then we had chorizo and pork shoulder – lots of meat!  I think we should have had just one of them and add some kind of salad or vegetable. Then we had churros, which is deep-fried.  All tasted very good but it was a heavy dinner.
