Flower Class

I took “Carpo“‘s flower lesson today and made a Champetre (French style large bouquet).  Today’s flowers were hydrangea, mimosa, lace flower, smoke glass, eucalyptus buds and  phalaenopsis (orchid).  The eucalyptus buds adds something unusual and I love them but they were very hard to handle.  As there is no flower or foliage that will be like cushions I found it quite hard to put them together in a stable spiral way.  It’s a very nice “airy” type of look.  At first the teacher put the phalaenopsis on the top of the bouquet but it didn’t seem to go with the bouquet and she suggested to put it sort of underneath(?) of the bouquet and it seems to work much better that way.
