来週いよいよ本帰国されるお友達と、今日はグッドウッドパークでアフタヌーンティーをご一緒しました。ランチタイムにご用が出来て、少し前にわたしが姪っ子と行ったグッドウッドパークの L’Espresso のアフタヌーンティーに変更。

I had afternoon tea at Goodwood Park Hotel’s L’Espresso with a friend who is leaving Singapore for good for Japan.  I was there with my niece a few weeks ago.

 

 

 

サンドイッチやアペタイザー系とフライドポテトと唐揚げ。写真は撮りませんでしたが、この後サンドイッチ系を２度取りました。

I had sandwiches, appetisers, fried potato and Kara-age (Japanese style fried chicken).  I went back a couple of times for some more sandwiches etc.

甘いものは、小さなドーナッツとチョコレートファウンテン（イチゴとパイナップル）で終了。

For sweets, just 1 small donut and a couple of pieces of fruits (a strawberry and a block of pineapple) that I dipped in the chocolate fountain.

 

お茶やコーヒーの種類から２種類いただいて、１人５３ドル。

You can choose 2 from tea and coffee selections and it’s S$53 per person.

 

お友達にお目にかかれるのは、とりあえず今日が最後。シンガポールにきて早い時期にお知り合いになり、ずっと仲良くしていただいたので本当に寂しいですが、お互い元気でいればまた日本やシンガポールや世界のどこかでお目にかかれます。元気でいましょう〜。

It was the last day I was able to see my friend.  I met her quite soon after we moved to Singapore and we’ve been seeing each other often for the last 8 years, I will miss her terribly.  However, as long as we are both in good health, we should be able to get together in Japan, Singapore or somewhere in the world now and again.  All the best for the new chapter in her life in Japan.
