Soft Tacos

今日の夕食は、ソフトタコス(もどき)でした。トルティーヤは蒸し器で蒸して(その方が長く暖かくキープできますし、トルティーヤも柔らかくなるので)、中身のメインは今日作ったチリコンカーニ。チリコンカーには、ご飯と食べるよりこの方が食べる量が少ないので今日はタコスに、残りは冷凍して次回はご飯と。他は、レタス、トマト、玉ねぎ、ワカモーレ、タコソース、シャンツァイ。

Today’s dinner was Soft Tacos (or something similar).  I steam tortilla in a Chinese steaming thing so they’ll be warm longer and also be made soft.  The filling was Chilli Con Carne (that I made today, the rest is going to be frozen and we’ll have it another day with rice), lettuce, tomato, onion, guacamole, taco sauce, and coriander leaves.

わたしはお昼が遅かったので、1枚だけ。食べ始めると結構お腹が空いていてもっと食べたかったですが、しばらくするとお腹いっぱいになるのがわかっていたので我慢。夫は3枚食べましたが、もう少し食べられそうでした。

Since I had a late lunch, I had just 1 wrap. Once I started to eat, I felt more hungry than I expected and could have eaten more but I stopped there as I knew I would feel full soon.  My husband had 3 of them (but he probably could have had more!).
