今日の夕食は、チキンのビネガー煮でした。こちらのレシピを参考にしています。チキンを焼いたあとお酢(わたしは千鳥酢)を加えて蒸発させた後白ワインで煮て、最後にマスタードとクリームを加えます。今日は少し煮詰まり過ぎたようで、濃いめのソースになりました。わたしは今日お昼にしっかりいただいてしまったので少なめに、夫はこの倍以上。人参の茹でたものと芽キャベツの蒸し炒めを添えました。ご飯によく合うのでわたしはご飯だけ、夫はご飯もパンも(笑)。
Today’s dinner was “Chicken In Vinegar”. The recipe is here, but only in Japanese. Basically, you sear the chicken thigh pieces with a few garlic cloves, pour i some vinegar and let it cook off. Then add white wine, some tomatoes and simmer for 20 minutes or so (depends on the chicken). Then put in some cream at the end with some English mustard. I had a big lunch so I had just a couple of small pieces but my husband had more than double of this. I just had rice as the sauce goes well with the rice but my husband had bread as well. I served it with carrots and Brussels sprouts.
