昨日は、先生がしばらくご出産でお休みされていたので２ヶ月ぶりくらいだった、お花のクラスに行きました。いつものシャンペトル。

I took a flower class yesterday morning; it’s been a couple of months since the last one because the teacher was on maternity leave.  I made a large bouquet (Champetre).

本当は自然光が程よく当たるところで写真を撮りたいのですが、我が家の構造が光が入ってくるガラスドアのすぐ側には撮りたい対象を置くところがないのです。日本によくあるような簡単に出せる折りたたみ式のテーブルを探しているのですがこちらでは見つからなくて、仕方なく買ったテーブルは大きいし組み立て式なので出すのがとても面倒なのです。で、ついついダイニングのテーブルで撮ってしまいます。ダイニングテーブルには自然光があまり届かないので、ふわっとした仕上がりになりません。

I wish I was able to take photos of flowers like this where the natural light reaches but there is nowhere I could put the vase near the glass door (other than on the floor).  I have been looking for a small folding table like so many people in Japan use but I haven’t found one.  I did buy one eventually here but it’s much too large and not easy to put it up, such a lot of hassle to use for a few minutes so I tend not to use it and just take photos of the vase on the dining table, which is too far from the glass door.  It just doesn’t work well.

お花はブルーのアジサイとミモザ、紫がかった赤いお花は菊の種類に分類されるお花なのだそうです。他に名前を忘れてしまった赤茶色の葉っぱと最後に加えたオーキッド。
