コンスタンティアに滞在していた間に、Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens にも行きました。山が背景に見える植物園。この日も暑い日だったのであまり日差しが強いところは歩けませんでしたが、日陰があるところを歩いて、キャノピー・ウォークウェイ（全長130メートルの空中歩行者通路）を渡ってさくっとお散歩しました。もう少し涼しかったらのんびりとお花の名前なども見ながら歩くと楽しいと思います。ちなみにお花の見頃は春（９月から１０月中旬くらいらしいですが今年は早く暑くなったみたいでした）なので、わたしたちは少し遅かったと思います。

We also visited Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens when we were staying in Constantia.  Beautiful gardens with mountains behind.  It was also a hot day so we walked only for a short time in the shade and on the canopy walkway, but if it had been a bit cooler we would have enjoyed taking more time looking at each tree/flower.  I think we were a bit too late in the year for the best time for flowers, though, as the best time seems spring.
