Okonomi-yaki

今日の夕食は、夫も大好きなお好み焼きでした。我が家風は、キャベツたっぷり、青ネギたっぷり、卵たっぷり、粉少なめのふんわりタイプ。シンガポールでは豚バラの薄切りを買ったら臭かったのでベーコンで作っています。わたしは卵を上に落とすのが好きですが夫が好まないので、生地に混ぜています。

Today’s dinner was Okonomi-yaki – both my husband and I love it.  Our way is to use a lot of cabbage, green onion & eggs, not too much batter, and cook it so it’s nice and light.  We used to use thinly sliced park belly but the ones we tried here were too gamy for me so we now use bacon.  I like putting an egg on top but my husband isn’t too keen on that so I mix eggs in the batter.

焼き始めてからは写真を撮り忘れていたので、以前の写真をアップします。いつものように一銭焼きをまず焼いてから、お好み焼き。美味しかったです!

I totally forgot to take photos once I started cooking so these are what I blogged before. As always we have Issen-yaki first then Okonomi-yaki.  We enjoyed both very much!
