Jool’s Favourite Beef Stew

今日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、ジェイミーオリバーの「Jool’s Favourite Beef Stew」。パースニップなどお野菜がたくさん入った赤ワインベースのビーフの煮込みです。

Today’s dinner my husband cooked was Jamie Oliver’s “Jool’s Favourite Beef Stew”.  It’s based with red wine and has a lot of vegetables like parsnip.  

レシピでは最初からお野菜も全部ビーフと一緒に入れて3時間半煮込むとありますが、半分最初から、半分は最後の1時間ほどになってから加えています。ちょうど良い煮え加減でとても美味しかったです。写真にはありませんが最後にかけるレモンの皮、ニンニク、ローズマリーをみじん切りしたものが加わると爽やかな香りで更に美味しくなります。

He added half of the vegetables first, then added the other half about an hour before finishing cooking.  Beef was tender, some vegetables were dissolved in the sauce, which made the sauce sweet and delicious, and some were just right. I didn’t take a photo but the mixture of lemon rind, garlic & rosemary that you sprinkle on makes it even more delicious!
