見かけが気持ち悪いと嫌がる人もいますが、わたしはパッションフルーツの良い香りも味も好きです。デザートに頂くほどボリュームがないせいか余り買おうと思わないのですが、リゾートでは良く頂きます。丸くて赤く熟すと皮がしわしわになるタイプと、この黄色くて楕円形で大きめで、熟しても皮はつるっとしたタイプがあります。

Some people find the look of inside passion fruits yucky but I’m OK about it and love the fragrance and the taste. I don’t buy them often – probably because they aren’t very satisfactory as a dessert – but I eat them when I am on holiday like now. Some are more red, round and the skin becomes wrinkled but these are egg-shaped, yellow, larger and the skin is smooth even when ripe.
