今日もまた曇りのち雨なお天気。少し陽が射すはずだったのに。明日は良くなるみたいです。

今日は、月曜日なので午前中は配達待ち。家のことをしているうちにランチタイム。昨日の夕食のソーセージを２つ残しておいたので、ソーセージサンドにしました。玉ねぎをゆっくり炒めたもの、トマトを焼いたもの、ちょっぴりだけトマトケチャップ。パンは、M&Sのチャバタをトーストして使いました、まずまずかな。

It was another very grey day, it rained quite heavily for a while, too.  I thought it was supposed to have a little better weather today.  The forecast says there will be some sunshine tomorrow.

Monday is a delivery day, so we stayed in doing some household chores.  Lunch was sausage & caramelised onion sandwich (we kept 2 sausages from yesterday’s dinner).  I also added a couple of slices of fried tomato and a tiny bit of ketchup.  The bread is toasted Ciabata from M&S – not too bad.

午後からはお庭の鳥を見たりしながらアイロンがけをして、３時過ぎにインテリアコーディネーターの方がサンプルを持って家に来こられ、あれこれ相談や確認。お忙しくて２つのアポの間に寄ってくださったので、１時間だけ。あっという間に過ぎてしまいます。バスルームのタイルも決まって、１階のお手洗いの壁の色も決まり。小さな家具やライティングなどはまだなのですが、基本のことはほとんど決まったように思います。

After lunch, I ironed a few things for about an hour watching the birds in our garden, then our interior decorator came with some samples around 3.00pm to check and confirm a few things.  She is very busy and popped in only for an hour between 2 appointments, an hour goes so quickly.  We’ve chosen tiles, wall colours for the bathroom and downstair’s cloakroom as well as walls and cabinets in the kitchen, dining and living room.  What’s left are smaller things like lightings and small furniture.
