昨日はランチの後、ヴィクトリア・アンド・アルバート博物館（V&A)で開催中の「Kimono」（京都から世界のランウェイへ）という特別展覧会を見に行きました。ヴィクトリア・アンド・アルバート博物館は無料で入れますが、特別展示会は入場料が必要です。ネットで事前に予約をして行きました。

Yesterday, after lunch, we went to see the special exhibition “Kimono – Kyoto to Catwalk” at the V&A.  You can get into the main museum free of charge but you need to buy a ticket to get into their special exhibitions and we booked the tickets in advance online.

日本の着物の歴史や歴史的な世界のファッションへの影響、現在の世界のファッションへの影響など多くの着物や帯、着物に影響を受けた洋服（？）、着物が描かれている浮世絵などの展示で、とても興味深かったです。写真を撮り過ぎて、どうしたものか。

The exhibition shows, as the title says, the history of the Kimono in Japan, how Kimono influenced the world’s fashion in the past and the current world’s fashion, displaying so many kimono, some obi, and a lot of current outfits with kimono influence.  There were also some paintings and posters that show kimono or kimono influence,   Very interesting.  I took so many photos but selected just 30 – still too many but I’ll upload them anyway.

相当割愛しでも３０枚もありますが、アップしちゃいます。

この展覧会は、６月２１日まで開催しているそうです。

This exhibition is on until the 21st June.
