Proper Blokes’ Sausage Fusilli

今日のディナーは、先日お肉屋さんで買ったソーセージを使ってジェイミーオリバーの「Proper Blokes’ Sausage Fusilli」(男性が好きなソーセージのパスタ)。


Today’s dinner was Jamie Oliver’sProper Blokes’ Sausage Fusilli using the sausages we bought the other day from the butcher in Petworth.

You squeeze out the meat from the sausages, fry it in a frying pan for a few minutes, then add bashed fennel seeds & chilli (we used flakes), keep cooking until the sausage meat browns as you break it into small pieces.  You add oregano, white wine, grated lemon rind and lemon juice, some pasta cooking liquid, then parsley and grated parmesan cheese.  It was good and we enjoyed it.  Although the recipe says you break the sausage meat to make it like mince pork, I personally prefer bigger pieces.
