Left-Over Cheese Fondue Cheese On Toast


It’s quite gray today but now and again the sun comes out.


We had a little Cheese Fondue left from last night, so we used it make cheese on toast.  We toasted bread first, then put on sliced onion and the cheese (plus Branston pickles in my husband’s case) and grilled it, then topped with bits of tomato.




As the bread is from the recipe taught us by our Italian friend, it’s a type that becomes very crispy when toasted and is ideal for Bruschetta.  Great for cheese on toast, too!
