Pan-Fried Pork Loin (with Cavolo Nero Champ and Sticky Glaze)

今日の夕食は、Hello Fresh の 「Pan-Fried Pork Loin with Cavolo Nero Champ and Sticky Glase(ポークステーキ、カボロネッロマッシュとスティッキーグレイズ)でした。とてもシンプルなお料理。ポークは塩胡椒してフライパンで焼いただけ。ポテトは途中からカボロネッロ(キャベツのようなケールのようなグリーンの葉っぱのお野菜)を加えて茹でて潰してマッシュにし、チーズとパセリと青ネギを加えてあります。ソースはポークを焼いたフライパンにお水とチキンストックパウダーを言えれてりんごとせーじのジャムとパセリを加えて少し煮詰めてあります。シンプルですが美味しかったです。相変わらず、色は寂しいですが。

Today’s dinner was “Pan-Fried Pork Loin with Cavolo Nero Champ and Sticky Glaze”.  A bery simple dish.  Pork steak was just pan-fried after seasoning.  Potatoes were boiled (with Cavolo Nero in the last 5 minutes), mashed, seasoned and then mixed with cheese, parsley and green onion.  The sauce was made with water & chicken stock boiled in the same pan after the pork was cooked, then Apple & Sage jelly and parsley were added then reduced a little.  Although it’s very simple, we enjoyed it very much.  I wish it looked a little more colourful, though, as always.

ポークは1センチくらいの薄いものだったのにレシピには合計12分焼くと書かれています。Hello Fresh のレシピは誰が読んでお料理しても生焼けで食べることがないように調理時間がかなり長めに書かれているので、その通りにすると焼けすぎて固くなってしまうので注意が必要です、今回は合計7分ほど焼きました。

The pork was very thin like 1cm but the recipe tells you to pan-fry for 12 minuets in total.  Hello Fresh always tells you to cook much longer than usually necessary because they don’t want to be responsible in case someone eats not throughly cooked meat, I guess, so if you follow their instruction it is very likely that you over cook the meat.  We cooked the pork for about 7 minutes in total and it was just right.
