There were some leftovers from the ratatouille we cooked yesterday for the pasta dish so we put it on toast for lunch.  The ratatouille was nicer – things like this are often nicer on the next day – but the bread wasn’t.  I really don’t like the texture, even after toasting it doesn’t become crispy.  So sad.  Also it’s more than double the size of the old machine, so it takes longer to eat it all….  We’ve been wanting to bake larger bread.  Ironic.
