Minestrone Soup With Japanese Sausages & Macaroni

今日の夕食は、ミネストローネ・スープでした。お野菜だけでも美味しいのでいつもは(出来るだけお肉類を食べない日も作りたいので)お野菜だけで作っていますが、夫が日本のソーセージが食べたいというので日本のソーセージ、ボリュームアップのためにマカロニも加えました。いつものようにコクを出すため、隠し味にお味噌も少しだけ加えています。とても美味しかったです。器に盛り付けてからパルメジャンチーズを削り入れて、オリーブオイルをたらり。

Today’s dinner was Minestrone Soup.  Usually I make it just with vegetables because we try to have days when we don’t take any meat, but my husband mentioned he wanted to have Japanese sausages (they are more like some German sausages and the ones we can get here are a little smokey), and some macaroni to make it more substantial.  As always I added just a little miso to add the depth of flavour (not as much as you can actually taste miso).  After pouring into bowls I added some grated Parmesan cheese and drizzles of olive oil.  It was yummy.
