アルコールインクで作った背景の残りを使って、あと数枚クリスマス・ニューイヤーカードを作りました。

A few more Christmas/New Year cards I made using left-over backgrounds made with alcohol ink.

 

 

 

 

こちらはアルコールインクの背景とは関係ないのですが、クリスマスカードを作り始めた頃に作ったカードをアップし忘れていたようです。スノードームの形のエンボスをした背景を使っています。

Another card I seem to have forgotten to blog, I made this soon after I started making Christmas cards in December using a snow dome embossing folder.

 

 

他にもオーナメントの形のものをエンボスした背景に貼ったカードなども作ったのですが、写真を撮り忘れているようです。

I also made some cards with ornament shapes (that have been adhered on embossed card bases), but it looks like I’d forgotten to take photos before sending them out.

ということで、今回のクリスマスカード作りは、これで終わりです。今回はあまりに作り始めたのが遅過ぎたので（これまでで最悪でした）、今年は早めに始めようと思っていますが、どうなりますか。

So, this is it about Christmas Cards 2021.  I was far too late to start making them (the worst ever!) so I hope I will start earlier this year, we’ll see.

そして、今年は、せっかく作ったカードをもっと出すことを目標にしたいと思います。日本人は家族やお友達のお誕生日にカードを送るという習慣がないせいか、なかなか早めに出すということが出来ずにいます。わたしは「今年の目標」を達成できなかったときのことを考えるとプレッシャーが大きすぎるのでそういうことを決めないタイプなのですが、「作ったカードをもっと出す」という曖昧な目標ならプレッシャーなく出来そうなので（笑）。

My “New Year Resolution” this year is to send out more cards that I make.  Maybe because Japanese don’t send cards to each other for birthdays I’m not good at sending them out in time.  I’m not one of those people who makes a “New Year Resolution” because I would hate not to be able to achieve it and it’ll give me too much pressure, but “send out more cards” is quite vague so I feel I can do that.
