Chicken Curry


It was beautiful weather today, no clouds, blue sky.  However, it looks like it’ll rain tomorrow.  It’s gone very cold, expected to go down to minus 2C, I wish it snowed!


As it’s the 12th Day, we took down all the Christmas decorations (the tree is in the garden waiting for my husband to cut into small enough pieces to go in the garden rubbish bin) and cleaned the living room thoroughly so it’s looking clean and neat now.  Although Christmas decorations are lovely and help us feel Christmassy, they start looking untidy after a while, specially after Christmas.  It feels great when they are gone.


Today’s dinner was Chicken & Vegetable curry.  I moved chicken thighs from the freezer to the fridge last night so asked my husband what he would like to cook for dinner, I said we could do Chicken in Tomato & Olives, Japanese Chicken curry, Indian Chicken Curry, or anything else he fancies, and he wanted Japanese Chicken Curry, so that’s what we cooked.  It has minced onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, cihcken, potato, carrot, cumin (seeds & powder), Fenegrek, chilli powder, turmeric, ketchup, salt, pepper & Japanese curry roux.
