Hamburg Steak In Pepper, Onion & Tomato Sauce


I took mince beef from the freezer to the fridge last night and asked my husband what he’d like us to cook using it. I suggested Chilli Con Carne, Hamburg Steak, Ragu, Keema curry or Cottage Pie and his answer was “Hamburg!”.  He wanted it to be cooked in a Ratatouille type sauce (although it was actually an onion, red pepper & tomato sauce as we didn’t have any courgette or aubergine).  As we used less vegetables than usual, we had broccoli on the side as well.
