ということで、昨日はホテルにチェックインする前に Bourton-On-The-Water に行きました。今日行く手もありましたが、今朝は雨になったので昨日行っておいて良かったです。このように、川の中にクリスマスツリーが飾られています。川の中のクリスマスツリーって他にもあるんでしょうか、わたしはここでしか見たことがなく、ググると Bourton-on-The-Water のツリーばかりがヒットするので少なくともここは有名なのだろうと思います。
We went to Bourton-On-The-Water yesterday before checking into our hotel in Cheltenham. We could have gone today but we were glad we did go yesterday as it was raining this morning. So, here is the Christmas tree in the river. I don’t know if there are many Christmas trees in rivers, this is the only one I’ve ever seen and when I google “Christmas tree in a river”, only the one in Bourton-On-The-Water comes up so at least must be the most well-known one.
この時期に出かけると自然とクリスマスムードが高まって来て良いものです。
