Chilli Con Carne


We are still feeling a bit lazy about cooking properly so today’s dinner was Chilli Con Carne, which we do have often anyway as my husband loves it and it’s often in the freezer as we tend to cook more of it than we eat at one meal.


Since my husband retired, we have been making meals together but as I have more repertoire it is often me who cooks mainly and my husband takes an assistant position and he often sets the table as well.  We should cook his repertoire more often!   When we have Chilli Con Carne, my husband is in charge of the garlic bread.  In the salad, I used tomatoes, onion, radishes, mixed salad leaves, lemon juice, Balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil and salt & pepper.  We always enjoy this meal.
