お昼過ぎまで良いお天気でしたが午後から曇って雨も少し降りました。それでも、最近はやっと太陽も時々顔を出してくれるようになってほっとします。

It was quite nice and sunny until a little after lunch but then it started to get cloudy and rained a little.  However, it’s nice that we are getting some sun now unlike until quite recently, when it would rain all day long.

今日の夕食は、トンカツ。我が家はフィレカツです。低めの温度からじわじわ揚げて良い色がついたら出来上がり、というのが失敗ない気がします。美味しくいただきました。

Today’s dinner was Tonkatsu, we use pork fillet for this.  I start frying from a low temperature, raise the temperature slowly and when they are nice and brown they are done, I find this is the fool-proof way to cook Tonkatsu.
