アランデル城のガーデンを歩いたあと、アランデルのティールーム（Cockburn’s Tea room)でお茶をしました。ここは、１度だけ去年の末に刺繍のグループの方達とクリスマス・アフタヌーンティをいただいたことがあります。昔ながらのイギリスらしいティールームという感じで、雰囲気があって好きです。使われているティーセットもイギリスらしく可愛らしい。

After walking in the garden of Arundel Castle, we had tea at Cockburn’s Tea Room in Arundel.  I’d been there once before at the end of last year with the embroidery group for their Christmas Afternoon Tea.  It’s very English, very old fashioned in a good way and I like it there.  The tea sets they use are also very English and sweet.

結構広くて、１階、２階、そしてもう半階あがったところに小さなお部屋があり、わたしたちは２階半の部分のテーブルに付きました。

It’s quite a large place and has the ground floor, the 1st floor and also another small room half a floor up, and we sat at the table in the small room.
