Left-Over Meal


As I wrote in my previous blog, the pizza I ordered at a pub for lunch was very large and I left almost half of it so we brought it home and had it with a salad for our evening meal today.


In the salad I put half an avocado (left from yesterday), onion, tomato, cucumber, red pepper, lettuce mixture, rocket.  These days I don’t often make a dressing separately, I just sprinkle everything into the bowl of salad and mix it together – salt, white balsamic condiment, lemon juice, olive oil, pepper.  One kind of tomatoes was sour so I put the ingredients for the dressing to marinade it, then added others.
