Aglio, Olio, e Peperoncino


It was another sunny day.  My husband was wearing shorts and spent the afternoon in the garden reading a book, but I wondered if it was a bit cold because it was quite windy and I felt a little cold in my light clothes.


Today’s dinner was Aglio Olio e Peperoncino with stem broccoli.  It’s not the type of pasta dish my husband enjoys so I rarely make it, but he started enjoying simple long pasta recently so it was sort of a test.  As I rarely make it it wasn’t my best, I should have used more garlic and a little more salt.  I still enjoyed it, though.  The spiciness was just right.  My husband said he didn’t expect to enjoy it but he actually quite liked it so maybe I can make it again.
