クリスマスイブはどのようにお過ごしになられましたか？今も日本ではお若い方達はデートの日、でしょうか？お子さんがおられる方たちは、イブにケーキを食べたりプレゼントをあげたりされるのでしょうね。
I wonder how people spent Christmas Eve. Do young people still have dates in Japan on Christmas Eve? I guess those who have children have Christmas cakes and give presents.
昨日は道路の交通渋滞が酷いとニュースなどで事前に言われていましたがあまり交通量はなく、家からホテルまで（途中でランチ休憩を挟んだ時間を除いて）4時間以内に着きました。3時ごろに到着することを目指していましたが2時半ごろに着いて、荷解きを終えた頃にちょうど3時ごろで、クリスマスキャロルの演奏が始まりました。
We were hearing how bad the traffic was going to be yesterday, but it was actually very light and took us less than 4 hours from home to the hotel (excluding the lunch break), we were aiming to arrive in the hotel around 3:00pm but got here around 2:30. Just around the time when we finished unpacking and went downstairs, a silver band was starting to play Christmas Carols.
その後、4時からワインテイスティング（4種類のワイン）。
Then, wine tasting from 4:00pm (4 wines – 2 white and 2 red).

3時から1時間、クリスマスキャロルの演奏。
Christmas Carols played from 3:00pm for an hour.
クリスマスキャロルを聴きながら、ミニスパイとホットワイン。
Mince pies and mulled wine, listening to the Christmas Carols.
