今日は、昨日の夏っぽい良いお天気から一気に寒くなりました。最高気温１５度くらい。太陽が出ていれば暖かく感じる気温ですが、今にも雨が降りそうなお天気だと寒い！結局、少しぱらつく程度でしたが、これから雷雨になるのかも。

After the lovely summery weather yesterday, it’s gone cold again.  The highest temperature was about 15C, which doesn’t sound so cold and it is nice temperature if the sun is out, but without the sun and with the sky that looks very threatening to rain all day, it felt quite cold.  It hadn’t rained much, just a few little sprinkles but maybe we’ll have a thunder tonight.

実は、今日はお昼にしっかり食べて夕食は何かつまむだけの予定でした。というのも、昨日のお昼にお天気予報をチェックした時は、今日は夕方までは良いお天気の予報だったのです。なので、近くに行きたいところがあり、そこでランチの予定でした。ところが、昨日の夜チェックしたら急展開していて、朝から雨の予報。行きたいところというのは外での食事なので、雨が降ったらいけない。ということで、急遽、今日の夕食は、たまたま昨日セインズベリーで買っていたインド料理のテイクアウェイのセットにしました。こんな風に、２人分が袋にいろいろ入ったものが売られていて、結構美味しいです。

We were planning to have a big lunch and no dinner today because the weather forecast showed sun until evening when I checked it yesterday afternoon.  However, it changed largely by last night to “cloudy during the day then thunder”.  We were planning to go somewhere, where we would be eating outside, so we needed to change our plan.  Fortunately, we bought an Indian Takeaway pack at Sainsbury’s yesterday so we had that for dinner.

温めるのはいつもオーブンで温めますが、それぞれに必要な時間が違うので一応タイムテーブルが必要。夫がしてくれるというので、お願いしました。なぜか、いつも、こういう食事の時は自分から担当を申し出てくれます。美味しくいただきました！

We always warm the dishes  up in the oven but you need to make a time table as each item needs different length of time in the oven.  My husband told me he would warm them up, for some reason he always offers to do this whenever we have this sort of meal.  It was very good, and we enjoyed it.
