昨日も今日も暗い１日、朝からずっと夕方のような暗さです。昨日２週間のお天気予報を見たら、後半にたくさん太陽マークがあったのに、今日は減っています（涙）。近づいてくると太陽マークが消えるんです、こんなことの繰り返し。とほほ。

It’s been dark and grey yesterday and today all day long, it feels like late evening from the morning onwards.  A few days ago, when I looked at the two week weather forecast, I saw many sun marks towards the end but that had been changed to only a few when I looked again today.  This seems to be the pattern, a lot of sun marks 2 weeks ahead but they disappear when the days get closer.

今日の夕食は、チキン・チリ・コンカーニ（余ったのを冷凍していた）とサラダでした。冷凍庫の中で熟成したのスパイスの香りが強まって、ビーフとの差が余りなくなっていました、美味しかったです。

Today’s dinner was Chicken Chilli Con Carne (what we made froze a little while ago) and a salad.  Maybe because it was sitting in the freezer for a bit, we could taste the spices more strongly and it didn’t seem as different tasting from our usual beef chilli as we had thought when we cooked it.

クリスマスツリーを置いたら急にクリスマスらしくなったので、テーブルも少しクリスマスらしくしてみました。

Now that we have the Christmas tree, it started to feel more Christmassy so we set the table to be more Christmassy, too.
