先述のように、昨日はブルーベルを見に行きました。車で１時間程度のところにある「Arlington Bluebell Walk & Garden」。この辺りのブルーベルはいつもより早い気がしたのですが、意外にまだ早かったようでピークまではまだ１週間くらいあるかな、という感じでした。場所によってまだあまり密集していないところがあちらこちらにあったものの、綺麗なところもあったので、十分楽しめました。ちょっと遠いので夫が面倒くさがるかもですが、夫のOKが出たら来週もう一度ピークを目掛けて行きたいと思います。羊の赤ちゃんも見れました！
As I wrote in my last post, we went to see bluebells yesterday. “Arlington Bluebell Walk & Garden” is about an hour’s drive from us. We had thought that the bluebells seemed to be early this year around here but when we got there we found it wasn’t peak yet. Maybe the peak would be about a week away. There were a few areas that there weren’t many bluebells but there were also some area that looked very pretty so we did enjoy walking there. It’s not close so I don’t know what my husband thinks but if he doesn’t mind I would like to go again when it’s at it’s peak. We also saw some cute lambs.
１時間弱歩いたあとは、恒例のお茶とケーキ。胡桃とコーヒーのケーキ。
After walking a little less than an hour, we had tea and cake at the cafe like we always do. Coffee & Walnut Cake.
