今日も気温はまだ20度暗いですが、1日良いお天気ででした。
The temperature is still not very high, about 20C, but it was lovely weather all day today.
今日の夕食は、先日ファームショップで買ったフレッシュのマッシュルームを詰めたトルテリーニでした。すごく大きなトルテリーニで10個入っていたので、夫に6個、わたしは4個。ソースは、玉ねぎ、にんにく、パンチェッタ、クリーム、タイムのソース。美味しくいただきました。お昼に使ったモッツァレラが余っていたのとイタリアの生ハムを食べ切ってしまいたかったので、少し前菜も用意しました。カプレーゼは夫用、ミニトマトとバジルはわたし用。イタリアの生ハム、深い味でとっても美味しかったです。
Today’s dinner was Tortellini filled with mushrooms that we bought at a Farm Shop. They were very large tortellini, and there were 10 in the pack so my husband had 6 of them and I had 4. The sauce I made was with onion, garlic, pancetta, cream & thyme. It was very enjoyable. I wanted to use the left-over mozzarella that we used at lunch time so made Caprese for my husband and I had some mini tomatoes with basil. We also wanted to finish the cured ham that we brought back from Italy so had what was left as a part of the starter. I really loved the cured ham from Italy, it has much more complex and deep flavour that what we can get here.
