今日はほとんど１日雨模様、一時期かなり強い雨になり、美容院から出て夫の車を探している間にびしょ濡れになりました（涙）。明日も雷雨マークが出ているので似たようなお天気になるのでしょうか。月、火曜は曇り時々晴れの予報です。

It was raining most of today – very heavily now and again.  When I came out of my hairdresser and was trying to find our car (with my husband inside) it suddenly got very heavy and I got soaked!  The forecast has a thunder mark for tomorrow so maybe similar again, but it is expected to get better on Monday and Tuesday with cloud and a sun mark.

今日は土曜日なので、夫が夕食を作ってくれました。日本のハンバーグ。付け合わせはインゲンのニンニク炒め蒸しとにんじんのグラッセ（八角やシナモンなどが入った複雑な味）。どれもとても美味しかったです！ちなみにインゲンはグリーン、黄色、紫の３種類の色のインゲンなのですが、蒸し炒めにしている間に紫も黄色くなってしまって、グリーンと黄色の２色になっていました。さっと茹でてサラダに使うと色が楽しめるのかもしれません。

It’s a Saturday today so my husband cooked dinner – Japanese style Hamburg steak.  The side dishes were French beans steam/stir-fried and carrot glace (complex flavour with star anise, cinnamon etc).  It was all delicious.  The French beans were in 3 colours – green, yellow & purple but the purple ones turned into yellow ones while they were cooked so they were just green and yellow on the plate.  Maybe we could enjoy the 3 different colours if we just blanched them and used them in a salad.
