今日は夕方、義弟夫婦とチチェスターのフェスティバルシアターでのお芝居「Woman In Mind」を見に行ったので、シアターの近くのレストラン「 Purchases Bar & Restaurant」で早めの夕食をしました。 We went to see a play, “Woman In Mind”, at The Chichester Festival Theatre with my brother-in-law and his wife. わたし以外の３人のメインは、チキンのもも肉に詰め物をして焼いたものでした。 At the pre-theatre dinner everyone other than myself had Chicken Thigh with stuffing for their main course. わたしは、バターナッツ・スクウォッシュのリゾット。上ののっているのはパースニップのクリスプス、コロッケみたいなのは多分ゴートチーズにパン粉をつけて揚げたもの。パースニップのクリスプスはあまりカリッとしていなかったのとお塩が振ってあるともっと美味しかったと思います。ゴートチーズを揚げたものはとても美味しかったですし、リゾットも美味しかったですが、リゾットにはたっぷりチーズが入っていたのでかなり濃厚で全部は食べきれなかったです。 I had Butternut Squash Risotto. 今日も良いお天気でイギリスとしては暑いですが、気温は少し下がっていて、風もあるので日陰にいると心地よいです。明日も今日と同じくらいの予報ですが、また日曜日に気温が上がり、月曜日はこの辺りも３０度になる予報、ロンドンは３７度まで上がる（サイトによって差があり、４０度という予報もあります）予報です。実は、今日は夫のお誕生日で、少しずれますが、お祝いに火曜日に１泊だけ近くに出かける予定なのです。宿泊するホテルは小さなかなり古いパブを改装したホテルなので多分クーラーもないと思われ、どうなることやら、と不安です。暑過ぎたら家に戻ってくるかもしれません。 It’s another sunny and hot day (for England anyway) but it’s slightly cooler than yesterday.
