お友達がお２人、カードを作りに来られました。お１人は２度目、もうお１人は初めてのカード作り。２度目の方はあれこれ試しながらの作業でしたので完成したのは１枚でしたが、２枚目の途中まで作られました。完成されたのは、このカード。プレゼントにいただいたチョコレートの箱の雰囲気で作りたいと作られたカードです。黒いペーパーにドライエンボスをし、メッセージはシルバーでヒートエンボスされています。

2 friends came to make cards this afternoon.  One has come once before and it was the first time for the other one to make cards.  The friend who’d been before made just 1 card today, partly because she chose some materials I hadn’t used before (or hadn’t used for a long long time) and it didn’t come out the way she wanted.  She was enjoying the whole process, though, and didn’t mind not being able to make more.  She is coming back to make some more next week. The black card stock is dry embossed and the sentiment is heat embossed with silver powder.  The inspiration of the card came from a box of chocolates she was given as a present.

もうお１人は、最近数人のお友達が作られたドライエンボスのカードを４枚作られました。メッセージは、こちらもシルバーでヒートエンボスされています。きらきらやパールをつけるとエレガントな雰囲気になりました。

The other friend made 4 cards with coloured and dry embossed background.  She also heat embossed the sentiments in silver powder.  With large diamond and pearl typle embellishments, they look very elegant.

お２人共とても楽しく作られていた様子で、何よりでした。

Both of them seemed to have enjoyed the whole process of making the cards, which I was happy to see.
