Gennaro’s Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca


I haven’t finished with my report Taiwan trip and my stay in Japan, it’ll take time as I’m doing my every day blog as well.

今日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、「Gennaro’s spaghetti alla puttanesca」(アンチョビ抜き)。プッタネスカは本来もっとトマトソースっぽいものだと思いますが、これはオイルベースっぽいバージョン。わたしも軽いパスタを食べたい時に似たようなプッタネスカ風を作ります。夫は多分もっとソースっぽいものが好みだと思いますが、わたしはさっぱりしていて好きです。

Today’s dinner my husband cooked was “Genarao’s spaghetti alla puttanesca” (without anchovy).  I think the original puttanesca is more like tomato sauce with what are used in this but this version is not like sauce.  I sometimes make it like this when I want something light.  I think my husband prefers more saucy type but I love this type.








It was yummy!


I had some persistent headache this afternoon, it wasn’t migraine but unpleasant enough, but glad that I felt much better by dinner.  I have a feeling my reading glasses aren’t strong enough now, I must have my eyes checked and update the lenses.
