今日は、今月のフラワーレッスンでした。ライラック、ユーカリ、ニゲラ、ビバーナム、スモークグラス。先生のお家の素敵な花瓶に入れると、更に素敵に見えます。

I took a Flower lesson today, as usual I made a large bouquet of flowers.  The photos don’t really show how large it is – but it’s very large!

 

 

 

ニゲラって、線香花火みたいで可愛いですね。

 

 

毎回組み終わったら、先生が素敵にラッピングしてくださいます。

The teacher wraps up the bouquets beautifully when they are done.

ディプロマコースを受けておられるお友達の小さな花束。「春」な花束ですね。

My friend, who is taking the diploma course, made this small spring-like bouquet.

先生のお宅に飾ってあった飾りが可愛くて、写真を撮らせていただきました。

The teacher has some very pretty nicknacks. 

 

他の方の花束に使われたピオニー。華やかで派手すぎず、大好きなお花。

我が家には丁度良い深さと大きさの花瓶がなく、少し深さが足りませんが備前焼の花瓶に入れています。

We don’t have the right size vase for such a bouquet so I’m using our Bizen-yaki vase – not quite deep enough but it has to do for now until I get the right one.

 

 

 

残念なことに夫は明日から数日出張。きれいな花束を見てもらえるのは今日だけです。わたしは夫がいないと夕食もPCの前で食べてしまうので、せっかくダイニングテーブルやリビングルームにお花を飾っていても、お花を見る機会がほとんどないのです。スタディーは大きなお花を飾るところなどないですし。

Sadly, though, my husband is going away tomorrow for a few days so this beautiful bouquet will not be admired much.  I have my meals in front of the PC when my husband isn’t around so I myself don’t see the flowers often, they stay in the living or dining room and I am mostly in our study.
