Avocado Toast

今日のランチは、アボカドトーストにしました。パンはサワドーの厚めのスライスでカリカリ。久しぶりにとてもきれいなちょうど良い熟成具合のアボカドになっていました。乾煎りした松の実とバジルをのせてオリーブオイルをたらり。

Today’s lunch was avocado toast.  Bread is sourdough bread sliced quite thickly and toasted until it’s nice and crispy.  Avocados were nice and ripe without any blackened parts (well, there was a very small black spot but not much), which is very rare these days.  With some dry-roasted pine nuts and basil and olive oil.

やはりピオニーは昨日でダメになったので、金曜日のお花のレッスンの時に余った花材と、ピオニーとまとめていた2つのアレンジのオオニソガラムとユーカリをまとめました。レッスンの時に使って余ったオオニソガラムはシルソイデスという長細くお花が咲いていくタイプで、わたしがピッツァパーティーで使った丸く咲くタイプはヒペリカム。まとめたので、2種類のオオニソガラムが入っています。シンガポールでも比較的長持ちします。

As predicted peonies were gone by this morning but eucalyptus and ornithogalum were OK so I made a bouquet with them and also what was left from the flower lesson on Friday.  Ornithogalum seems to last longer than many other flowers in Singapore.

レッスンで束ねたブーケのオオニソガラムも咲いてきました。咲くまでは、アスパラガスのようです。

Ornithogalum I used at the flower class also started to get fuller.  They look like asparagus until they flower.
