昨日から夫は出張中、明日は戻ります。しばらく行っていなかったので、鼎泰豊に行きました。ランチと夕食の間の中途半端な、ガラガラの時間帯。このところ、ひとりで行くといつもこれです。

My husband has been away on business since yesterday.  I hadn’t been to Din Tai Fun for a while so I decided to have a meal there on my own.  It was almost empty as I went between lunch time and dinner time.  I almost always order the same 2 items here if I go there alone.

野菜の前菜。シャキシャキしてちょっと酸っぱくて美味しい。もっと山盛り食べたいと思うほど。

Vegetable appetiser.  Crispy, sour and a little sweet.  I could eat a mountain of this.

ヌードルのスパイシーソース。かなりピリピリしますが、甘さもあり、四川山椒の香りもよくて、これも大好きです。

Noodles with spicy sauce.  It’s pretty spicy, my tongue tingles for a while after eating this, but it’s also sweet and fragrant with Sichuan pepper.
