Hot Salad (Chorizo, Potato, Poached Egg)

今日の夕食は、チョリソ、ポテト、ポーチドエッグのホットサラダ。香港にいたころにチョリソを使うようになり、ポテトやポーチドエッグに合うはずと作ってみて以来好きでよく作ります。作り方は以前のブログに書いてありますが、ニンニクを書き忘れていました、ニンニクのみじん切りも途中で足して炒めます。今日は野菜もポテトもフライパンで焼きましたが、やはりオーブンの方が楽。次回はオーブンを使います。ポーチドエッグは、やはり Nigella Lawson のちょっと変わった作り方で作っています。夫も好きな味のようで、喜んで食べてくれました。

Today’s dinner was Hot Salad of Chorizo, potato & poached egg.  I started making this (or something very similar) in Hong Kong when I started using chorizo, I thought chorizo, potato and poached egg must go so well together and they did.  I have written a rough recipe before but forgot to put garlic in, I usually use some chopped garlic (just add to other vegetables for stir-frying).  I used a frying pan for stir-frying vegetables, then potatoes but I will use the oven next time as I think it’s much easier.  I now make poached eggs in the way Nigella Lawson does, I find her method works well.  My husband also loves this dish.
