今日は嵐で強風が吹くと聞いていましたが、時々風の音が聞こえたものの思っていたほどではなかったです。

We were told that another storm was going to hit us and there would be very strong winds.  Although I heard the wind now and again it didn’t seem as bad as we thought it might be.

今日の夕食は、昨日のコテージパイの残り。付け合わせは、ニンジンのグラッセとインゲンの蒸し炒め。

Today’s dinner was the left-over of the Cottage Pie my husband cooked yesterday, with some glace of carrots and green beans steam-stir-fired.
