ロンドンでは、今回はコノート・ホテルに宿泊しました。ずいぶん昔に泊まったことがありましたが、久しぶりでした。わたしたちが行きたいところが比較的近くにあって便利でした。 We stayed at The Connaught on our London trip this time. We’d stayed there many years ago and since then the have built a new wing, which is where our room was. Many places we wanted to go to were within walking distance of the hotel, which was good.

日曜日の夕食は、パスタでした。ソースは、冷凍していたトマトソースにベーコンを足したもの。炭水化物を減らす努力中なので、前菜に少しサラダをいただいてからパスタ。 Our dinner last Sunday was Pasta. Christmas Tree 2025
ということで、やっと昨日、ツリーの飾りをしました。夫は早くからツリーを飾るのを嫌がるので、大体今頃になるような気がします。生のツリーなので早く飾りすぎると早く乾燥してしまいますしね。 So we finally decorated the tree yesterday. My husband doesn’t like having a tree too early so I think we usually get it around this time of year. Besides, the tree would get too dry if we bought it much earlier. 今年はピンクにしました。リビングルームのインパクトがある椅子がピンクですし、他にもピンクが点在しているのでお部屋に合う色だと思います。（ピンクだけでは足りないのでコッパー色と混ぜています。）淡めの色が多いのでもう少し濃い目の色のものも欲しいのですが、なかなか見つかりません。また、辛抱強くネット検索をして探そうと思います。 I decided to have pink decorations this year, I think the colour…

Beef And Beany Quesadillas (Hello Fresh)
今日の夕食は、Hello Fresh の「Beef And Beany Quesadillas With Pepper And Baby Leaf Salad」（パプリカ入りのビーフと金時豆たっぷりのケサディヤとベビーリーフサラダ）でした。その名の通り、パプリカが入った金時豆をたくさんでビーフが少なめのチリコンカー二のようなものをトルティーヤに挟んでチーズをのせてオーブンで焼いたものです。添えるサラダはベビーリーフだけでしたが、うちの玉ねぎ、トマト、きゅうりを加えました。美味しくいただきました。 Today’s dinner was “Beef And Beany Quesadillas With Pepper And Baby Leaf Salad” from Hello Fresh.
