引き続き、暑い日でした。出かけたのはジムだけ。お天気予報はコロコロ変わってついこの間の予報では１週間くらいさきには２４度くらいに下がる予報だったのに、今見たらこの先２週間ずっと暑そう（涙）。来週土曜日に２６度と少し下がる予報ですが、その先１週間ずっと２６度か２７度となっています。やれ、やれ。雨も降らないので毎日お庭の水撒きも必要、特にポット。地植えしている植物も枯れてきているものもちょこちょこあり、紫陽花は可哀想なことになっています。自動水撒き装置を入れているのですが、それでは追いつかないみたい。

Hot again, and we only went to the gym.  The forecast keeps as usual, when I checked it yesterday it looked like the temperature will drop in a week down to 24C but now it looks like it’s hot for the next 2 weeks at least.  It’s as hot or hotter like today for a week, then expected to go down to 26C or 27C, which is still too hot to me, but not 24C like before.   Enough hot days!  As it hasn’t rained for such a long time our gardens are looking very dry even with the irrigation  system and my husband watering them nearly every day.   Some of the plants on the flower beds are looking crispy and hydrangeas are looking very sad.

さて、一昨日食べたおうちピクニック風のものがまだ残っているものがあったので、昨日ファームショップでチョリソ入りスコッチエッグと野菜のサモサを買い足して、今日もおうちピクニックにしました。

Now, today’s evening meal was “Picky Bits” again because we had some things left from the “picky bits” meal on the day before.  We bought a scotch egg with chorizo and some vegetable samosas to add to the leftovers.

 

 

 

 

 

ワールドカップ、少し前に残念ながら日本は退いてしまいましたが、イギリスはまだ頑張っていて昨日の試合に勝てたので、いよいよセミファイナルとなっています。

Sadly Japan has already gone out of the World Cup but England won against Norway last night (our time) and they will be in the Semi Final!
