今日は、夫のお誕生日。作ったカードは、こちら。実はもう１種類作ってどちらにしようか迷いましたが、こちらの方が明るい感じだったのでこちらにしました。全体にHappy Birthday が抜けるダイで抜いた白いカードを白のベースにのせて、タイプライターやメッセージをスタンプしたものは水彩で滲ませたりシミをつけたりしています。線が入ったメモ用紙のようなものは分厚いトレーシングペーパーのようなヴェラム紙にスタンプを白でヒートエンボスしています。参考にしたカードは、Nicole Magouirkさんのこのカード。）

It’s my husband’s birthday today.  I made 2 cards but chose this one as this seemed more cheerful and light-hearted looking.  I die cut white card stock with a background die (with happy birthday all over) and adhered it on top of a base of white card.  The type write and the additional paper with sentiment are stamped then distressed with some water and watercolour paint.  Under them, I added a piece of vellum with heat-embossed stamp image.  I thought this looked cute but not too feminine becaue of the large typewriter.  (Inspired by this card by Nicole Magouirk)
