少し前にOnline Card Class   のTim Holtz の Creative Chemistry 103というクラスを取りましたが、肝心の材料（インクやクレヨンなど）がなかったのでビデオを見ただけで実際に練習したりカードを作ったりすることはできませんでした。先日、Distress Crayon というものが届いたので、レッスンで Jennifer McGuiare さんが作られたカードを作ってみました。色は多少違いますが、同じデザインで一気に６枚作りました。Jennifer さんが作られた時はクレヨンの上にあまりインクは乗らなかったのですが、わたしがすると結構上からインクが乗ってしまい色が鮮やかではなくなってしまいました。クレヨンの量が少なかったのかもしれません。また、色を混ぜすぎてしまったのかあまり綺麗な色にならず残念。また、挑戦してみます。

I took Tim Hotlz’s Creative Chemistry 103 of Online Card Class a little while ago but I wasn’t able to do anything because I didn’t have any of the products he was featuring.  This is the problem when you don’t live in the US, it takes too long for anything to arrive.

Distress Crayon arrived recently so I tried the technique Jennifer McGuire showed.  I made 6 of the same cards using slightly different colours on some.  I guess I didn’t put enough crayon because it didn’t resist the distress ink I put on and made the colour duller.  I think I also mixed the colours too much because they aren’t as nice and violent as Jennifer’s.  One or two came out quite nicely but the rest of the flowers look a little muddy.  I’ll have to try again.
