Chicken With Whole Spices

昨日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、Delia Smith Chicken With Whole Spice (カレー風味のチキン)でした。元のレシピはチキン1羽をカットして骨つきで使うレシピですが夫は胸肉を使っているのでレシピの通りに作るとオーブンで焼く時間が長すぎて硬くなってしまいますしソースも煮詰まりすぎてなくなってしまうので、ソースの量を増やしたり焼き時間を短くしたり工夫してくれています。とても美味しかったです!

Yesterday’s dinner my husband cooked was Delia Smith’s Chicken With Whole Spice.  The original recipe uses a whole chicken cut in pieces with bones in, so if you follow her recipe using chicken breasts as he did, you will cook the chicken too long and it becomes too tough, the sauce will evaporate and there will be almost nothing left, so my husband increases the amount of the sauce and cooks it shorter time.  It was delicious!
